After months of testing, WhatsApp starts launching the status sharing feature with other apps such as Facebook.

WABetaInfo – Specialized in monitoring whatsapp experimental features on Android and iOS – was the first to discover the feature test in May, and the Verge website published a report confirming the feature test in late June.

WhatsApp, owned by Facebook, did not announce the official launch of the feature, but many users reported on the social networking site Twitter about the arrival of the feature, and this is not for everyone, suggesting that the launch of the feature will be gradual.

However, WhatsApp has added to its FAQ page an explanation of how to share Whatsapp statuses on Facebook and other apps: Instagram, Gmail or Google Photos, so advertising and official launch for all users worldwide may be imminent.

With the support of the new feature, the user will see the new option “Share to Facebook Story” under the “My Status” tab, where they can click on it to go to the next step. There, the user can see what apps WhatsApp status can be shared with.

If the user posts more than one status on WhatsApp, they will all be shared with Facebook stories, so if the user does not want to share all the cases, they should go to the (My Status) section, and then choose only the cases that he wants to share, so By clicking on the menu button in the upper right corner and then the option (Share to Facebook).

Cases shared outside WhatsApp will not be encrypted (end-to-end), and this feature is only available to those who have Facebook or Facebook Lite installed on their phone.
