The latest report from market research firm Strategy Analytics showed that 4 out of 6 of the best-selling Android phones during the first quarter of this year (Q1 2020) are from Samsung, while the other two are from Xiaomi.
And the Galaxy A51 version, which supports only fourth-generation networks, took the lead during the first three months of 2020, when more than 6 million units were shipped, which constituted 2.3% of the total Android phones sold during the first quarter. The phone has been popular all over the world, especially Europe and Asia.
As for his closest competitors, the Redmi 8 phone from Xiaomi came in second place, grabbing 1.9% of the market, and the phone was very popular in India and China, as it became popular in Europe.
Strategy Analytics explains that concerns about funds during the emerging coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic, along with reduced support from telecom companies, have prompted consumers to search for affordable devices. But the six best-selling phones in the Android phone market were among them the flagship phone Galaxy S20 Plus from Samsung, which came in third place with a share of 1.7% of the market.
The remaining three phones are Galaxy A10s, Galaxy A20s from Samsung, and Redmi Note 8 phone from Xiaomi.
