To maintain the privacy and intimacy within WhatsApp, the company limit how you can forward a message. The new feature is part of WhatsApp’s efforts to eliminate erroneous information that spreads over forwarded messages on its platform.

If users try to forward a message that has been forwarded several times by other users, you’ll notice that WhatsApp will mark the message as “Redirected multiple times” before sending it.

A spokesman for WhatsApp said: “We recently provided an update to label redirected messages that help people determine when to receive pre-forwarded messages multiple times, such as a string message.”

Like all other messages sent in WhatsApp, the number of redirections for a particular message will still be encrypted, the company said in a blog post on its website.

Facebook has renamed the WhatsApp application by adding its name to some versions of the WhatsApp application for Android and iOS. So, Whatsapp will become WhatsApp from Facebook.
