AMD today announced its new processors and graphics cards at the Computex 2019 event in Taipei, Taiwan. The company said the new third generation of Ryzen processors, the first 7-nanometer personal computer processor, will be on sale from July.
The Ryzen 9 3900x processor features 12 core processors with the ability to operate at a frequency of 4.6 GHz and a temporary memory of 70 MB. It also uses 105 watts of thermal design power compared to 165 watts for the Intel Core i9 9920X processor.
The company said it would sell at a price not exceeding $ 500, a very competitive price compared to Intel’s rival Core i9 9920X processor, which sells for $ 1,189. It plans to release the 6-core version at $ 199 and the 8-core version at $ 329.
