Apple has started an exclusive internal testing for its employees to give them early access to the upcoming Apple Arcade streaming service, allowing a first look at the service and the games that will come with it.
For a monthly subscription of $ 0.49 with a free trial month, Apple employees have had the opportunity to experience the games available at Apple Arcade, including: Way of the Turtle, Down in Bermuda, Hot Lava, Sneaky Sasquatch, and Frogger in Toy Town, and other games.
Apple has so far invested more than $ 500 million in the service Apple Arcade – announced on March 25 last – is scheduled to launch in mid-September with more than 100 games, and in 150 countries.
By giving its employees the chance to test Apple Arcade, Apple aims to get valuable feedback that improves the service before launching it to the general public, as well as detecting and fixing any gaps in the service itself.
The description of the games currently available in the internal testing of the streaming service shows that they are still in the development stage, so testing them will also give gaming companies, such as Konami, SEGA, and LEGO, the opportunity to detect bugs and gaps in order to fix them before the final release.
